After The FireThe fire is what started it all, I guess.  
The Knowing. The Seeing. The Dreams.  
Is ignorance better than knowledge? Is innocence safer than maturity? I ask myself these questions every night now, when the moon and the stars sing silver and the darkness pulses in my ears like the heartbeat of the world, when the night’s forests rustle secrets and I lie awake in fear of what I might Dream.  
I used to try to sneak out when those moments came, just jog around the block in my pajamas until my muscles burned and I was too tired to see. I don’t do that anymore. Too many bad things hide in the dark.

Fading Into the BackgroundFading away from my central silence,  Emanating an aura of amethyst and sky.  Clouds and flowers in a vortex of unknown,  centered around a dragon's eye.   
Sunburst over autumn leaves,  Making a golden coronet of bells  Out of patchwork and sun, leaf and sky,  Out of copper threads and wire dolls.  Memories flowing on a non-existant breeze  Carried out to the sea by crying songbirds  Weeping for what was lost and can never be found.   
I am drifting on that wind.  I am drowning in the sands of melancholy,  Too frozen to move or breathe.

Summer Memories

Back from dropping off the face of the Earth

I'm back from camp (and missing the insanity :cries:) and the year of hell has started. Junior year of high school. Do I need to say anything else? I fail at doing and turning in homework, so whether I pass this year is going to be based on luck more than anything.

Fortunately, there is one good thing: CREATIVE WRITING!!! :w00t!: :dance:
I've actually come up with a good idea for a story (the story that I have just submitted the first chapter of a few minutes ago. :D) thanks to this class, so I'm feeling a little bit better about life.
Please, please, please try to read it and give suggestions. I know that sounds annoyingly like begging, but I'm not that good at writing anything longer than three pages. If I'm going to make this story work, I'm going to need major help.
